Whether your dog is a seasoned show star or just loves a bit of attention, our dog shows are all about celebrating personality, raising money for great causes, and having fun together.

Hatton's Hungry Hounds are a family run business based in Bebside (Blyth), Northumberland who sell natural dog treats, dried dog food, Natural Instinct frozen dog food and some accessories. They pride themselves in providing high quality natural products free from artificial additives.
What sets them apart is their genuine love for dogs & their local community. From the personal touch they bring to every customer interaction to the care they put into sourcing their products.

Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter helps animals that are lost, unwanted, neglected, abused and abandoned. They reunite lost animals with their owners and find loving new homes for those no longer wanted.

By entering a class, you’ll be helping raise vital funds to support their incredible work.

Dog Show Classes
10:30am – Little Munch-Kins (Dogs under 12 months)
11:00am – Shakedown (Best Pawshake)
11:30am – Chewlicious Dude (Best Boy)
12:00pm – Just the Chew of Us (Best Child Handler)
12:30pm – Greet and Treat (Waggiest Tail)
1:00pm – Chewtiful Oldie (Senior dogs 8+)
1:30pm – Fancy Dress* (Fancy Dress)
2:00pm – Biscuit Beauty (Best Girl)
2:30pm – Treat Testing Tricks (Best Trick)
3:00pm – Biscuit Bestie (Best Rescue)
3:30pm – Overall Best in Show*
(*1st place winners from each class invited back)
Important Information
Classes run throughout the day and you can enter on the day at the Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter arena.
Timings are approximate and may be subject to change.
All 1st place winners can visit the stewards’ area with their rosette to receive a limited edition festival character pin badge.
*Fancy dress outfits must be comfortable, well-fitting, and not cause distress to your dog.
Dog shows run throughout the weekend with a range of classes. Each class has a start time and can be entered via registration at the corresponding charity dog show area on the day. Dog shows are rope fenced and entry fees may vary from show to show and are set by the charities not the festival. All 1st place winners can visit the stewards area with their 1st place rosette to choose a limited edition festival character pin badge. Please note that timings are approximate and classes may be subject to change. *Fancy dress must be comfortable and well-fitting, not cause distress to the dog and be tolerated by the dog.
