Thistle
Thistle is a 2 year old female Cocker Spaniel from North Yorkshire. She loves creating content for her IG account. Whether it's showing off her new trick or going on forest, beach or mountain adventure with her family. Her motto is "Ball is life" and always brings her tennis ball for added fun.
A natural swimmer and mud wearer, there is never a dull moment with Thistle about! Thistle is very excited to be an Ambassador for the North East Dog Festival and looks forward to meeting everyone. Make sure you come and say Hi.
Reggie & Ginny
I’m Emma and I’m a registered veterinary nurse. I’m the human behind labsupnorth! Reggie and Ginny are fox Red Labradors, Reggie is 4 and Ginny is 15 months.
We live on the coast and absolutely love it. Reggie is a bit of an anxious boy and not sure of other dogs but he’s been to the north east dog festival every year and always smashes it. Ginny is a confident girl and takes everything in her stride, it was her first visit last year when she was a puppy and she loved it.
We’ve been to the festival every year since it first started and are excited to be a bigger part of it this year.
Lola
Lola was seized by the police August 2019, her only crime her appearance and judged a “Pitbull type” by tape measurements! She passed the temperance assessment with flying colours and although the court agreed she posed no risk to public safety and was allowed home, she is now subject to severe restrictions, including having to be kept on lead and muzzled in any public place.
Lola campaigns to raise awareness and petitions to repeal BSL legislation. Two petitions have previously been debated in Parliament and a third is now awaiting a debate date. Her Facebook page Loved Lola (50k followers) documents her daily life and show how miss-understood Bull Breeds have become as a result of media miss reporting.
Willow & Bobby
Willow and Bobby, an English Springer spaniel and a sprocker, are two fun loving spaniels, living their best life by the sea in North East England.
You'll find them most weekends running along the sand and paddling in the sea with their humans. If they're not by the coast they're traveling around, seeking out the best dog friendly places to visit. Both 6 years old and full character and charm.
Bear
Bear is a 2 year old GSD and his favourite things are sausages, cuddling his big teddy and going on adventures with his humans!
Bear has lots of hobbies including Mantrailing, Canicross and Hoopers. We can’t wait for this year's North East Dog Festival especially the have a go areas and the pupuccinos!!
Luna & Lucy
Hey! It’s Luna and Lucy - we are 7 and 2 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniels! We are so excited to be ambassadors at this year’s North East Dog Festival!
You’ll always catch Luna in her purple harness. She’s the more timid of the two. Her favourite things are fish and chips, slippers, Stitch,
and snoring!
Lucy, you’ll always catch in pink! She’s the louder of the girls, an ultimate diva who loves snuggles, photos, biscuits, and attention.
Luna and Lucy love going on walks across the region, especially with their Cavalier walking group!
Their favourite places to visit are forests (where they love getting muddy) and the beach (where they love collecting rocks and splashing in the waves) and their favourite way to end a walk is with a pupuccino of course!
Oscar
Oscar is a 5 year old cavapoo who loves nothing more than an adventure with his friends!
He loves hiking in the hills, getting muddy, digging at the beach and going for a puppuccino.
We have visited the North East Dog Festival every year and are so excited to be returning this year as ambassadors. Can’t wait to see you all there!
