Vets4Pets announced as partner sponsor for The North East Dog Festival
The North East Dog Festival is delighted to announce that several Vets4Pets practices across the North East will be participating as partner sponsors for the 2019 North East Dog Festival. The event, which takes place on Saturday 7th September 2019 at Kirkley Hall Campus in Northumberland will bring together people from all over the North with one thing in common….their love of dogs!
Unlike anything else in the North, the festival will once again play host to dog shows, have-a-go activities, an education marquee, main ring displays and plenty of shopping. Showcasing expert speakers, dog training clubs and much more in its spectacular one-day event.
The Vets4Pets practices will play a key role in the Nose2Tail Health village offering health checks, weight checks and much more. There are over 400 Vets4Pets practices across the UK; of which several will be attending the event. As well as being able to speak to experts on the day, visitors will also have a chance to listen to a first aid talk in the education marquee.
“Theres so much excitement across practices in the North East, we can’t wait to attend! We can’t wait to get to the show and see everyone and their dogs. As well as having the opportunity for our vets to do free health checks on the day.” Said a colleague of Vets4Pets.
One of the main attractions for 2019 is The East Anglian Staffordshire Bull Terrier Display Team who are performing in the North East for the very first time. The super staffies are Crufts main ring regulars and will showcase a range of exciting skills and games in this year’s main ring.
One of the festival founders; Rebecca Earle commented; “Our first festival at Kirkley Hall was a roaring success, with over 5000 visitors (and just as many dogs) enjoying a fabulous day out. We are super excited to have Vets4Pets on board and I’m sure people will benefit from their expertise on the day. As well as the Nose2Tail Health Village visitors will have the chance to try out many new activities with their dogs. Plus, even if you don’t own a dog you can watch the fabulous main ring displays and listen to a range of interesting and informative talks in the education marquee (and do a good bit of shopping as well!)”.
