Meet the New Host of Our Breed Area!

We’re delighted to announce that award-winning dog trainer and behaviourist Nathan Leighton will be hosting our Breed Area at this weekend’s festival.

Nathan is the founder and senior behaviourist at The Dog Trainers and has spent the past 10 years helping more than 3,000 dogs become calmer and more confident. His approach focuses on force-free, ethical training and strengthening the relationship between dogs and their humans.

He is accredited by the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers and Behaviour, a senior instructor and approved trainer with the Dog Training College, and a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. Nathan is also an Animal Training Instructor with the Animal Training and Behaviour Council and a Northumbria Police and Crime Commissioner Canine Welfare Visitor.

Nathan will be stepping in after The Dog Log became unable to host the area, and we’re incredibly grateful to them for ensuring this much-loved part of the festival can still go ahead.
