Chuck Tails says ‘I do’ to The North East Dog Festival

The North East Dog Festival, which takes place Saturday August 31st and Sunday 1st September at Kirkley Hall in Ponteland, is thrilled to announce its partnership with Chuck Tails - The Dog Wedding Chaperone for this year's event. The festival, now in its 7th year, has grown to be one of the largest dog centred events in the North.

Set out in over 20 acres it's a paradise for any dog lover with have a go activities, dog shows, seminars, main ring displays, breed hang out and over 100 different trade stands. Dogs will be able to try their paw at everything from lure racing to flyball, gundog scurries to agility and crowd favourites such as Scentventure and fastest recall will also return. Plus new for this year is our TRAILDOG CaniSports Area which will feature canicross and a mini-UltiMutt course.

The Wellness Tipi will welcome specialist speakers on topics ranging from dog behaviour to dog massage and many more. Charity dog shows will have classes in everything from Most Handsome Dog to the Best Rescue with lots of amazing prizes up for grabs. Alongside Chuck Tails, the dog shows will also feature special classes like ‘best doggy couple’ and the festival will be running a feature to find the best dog related love story in the region.
