It's cover star competition time!

Stop what your doing....it's cover star competition time!

It's that time of the year again when we search for our show programme cover star and this year is a super special one!

Not only is it our 10th birthday and not only will we be teaming up again with North East Dog Photographer, Rebecca of Sit Stay Capture - The Adventure Dog Photographer but we’ve also teamed up with the amazing Craig Ferguson Artist.

We are looking for the best looking pooch to feature on the front cover of this year's festival show programme; programmes are available throughout the weekend and are also available to download before the big event; so your dog might start needing to offer pawtographs if they let the fame go to their furry heads!

The winner will get a one hour photoshoot with North East Dog Photographer, Rebecca and an image will be chosen from the shoot for the front cover. Plus this year we have an additional fabulous prize!

The winner will also receive a voucher for an A3 single dog portrait by Craig Ferguson Fine Art. (worth over £200*).

Post ONE photograph of your dog in the comments on the cover star post on our Facebook page. One entry per dog (for those of you who have more than one dog) we suggest you post the one that shows off your dog the best. Photographs must have been taken within the last 12 months.

Our festival team will pick our top 5 favourites and then we will put it to you, our wonderful followers to choose the winner. Last year our voting worked much better so we will be working hard again to ensure it goes smoothly.

The winner must be able to travel to Druridge Bay Country Park before the end of July 2025. The winner will receive all digital images from the photoshoot and a pair of weekend tickets to the festival and an awesome goodie bag. One image from the shoot will be used as the front cover of the 2025 North East Dog Festival Show Programme. The winner will also receive a voucher for an A3 single dog portrait by Craig Ferguson Fine Art. (worth over £200*). *The portrait can be framed for an additional fee.

One entry per dog. Multiple entries will not be accepted. Closing date is Monday 7th July at 10pm. The top 5 will be added to a shortlist post and the winner will be voted by our followers.
